THE NEIGHBORHOOD

A classic Irvine neighborhood in the middle of everything

College Park is a neighborhood of 820+ single-family homes in Irvine's Walnut Village, built in the early 1970s by S&S Construction (Shapell Industries) as part of The Irvine Company's master plan. It is one of Irvine's established neighborhoods: mature trees, wide sidewalks, and a community built around its own pools, clubhouse, parks and elementary school.

Community amenities

Community pools, a clubhouse and neighborhood parks with playgrounds and green space, all maintained by the College Park Walnut Village Community Association.

No Mello-Roos

College Park was built before Mello-Roos districts were created in 1982, so homes here do not carry the Mello-Roos special tax found in many newer Irvine neighborhoods.

Everyday convenience

Walnut Village Center, with Trader Joe's, cafes and restaurants, is a short walk or bike ride away, and Tustin Marketplace is about 2 miles north.

SCHOOLS

Irvine Unified School District

College Park is served by the Irvine Unified School District (IUSD). The neighborhood has its own elementary school, so many children can walk to class.
